Hollowmen is a new comedy-drama series by the ABC. It revolves around the people of the Central Policy Unit, helping the PM get re-elected.
Episode 2 (This week) features the Edifice Complex; an idea based on the book by Deyan Sudjic. The need to build is sometimes not dictated by rational needs to earn money or accomodate human activities. It is a gesture of power, legacy and potency. Sometimes however, the need is unfounded. There is no other aim than a show of power, legacy and potency.
